Day to Day Motor Claims
- Provide a motor claims handling service to all users and drivers of Customer vehicles
- Validate, authorise and control Motor Damage repair costs
- Liaise with Customer motor insurers
- Provide replacement vehicles through approved repairers or approved rental suppliers
- Advise drivers about personal injury claims and liaise with solicitor throughout claim
- Manage ESCROW funds and all claims accounting plus VAT analysis for re-claim purposes
- Dispose of salvage within defined criteria recognising sensitivity and protecting Customer integrity
- Manage Customer Approved Accident Repair Network
- Handle personal effects and medical expenses claims

Uninsured Loss Recovery
- Establish the identity of culpable third parties
- Set out details of losses to third parties and obtain maximum settlement
- Pursue evidence from drivers, witnesses – obtaining expert reports and police reports to support third party recovery actions.
- Obtain settlement from Motor Insurer’s Bureau where a third party is uninsured.
- Instruct Solicitors only at last resort
- Liaise with Customer insurers throughout to ensure commonality over third party claims

Risk Management
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, vehicles, drivers, incident circumstances and financial data.
- Provide financial and claims analysis reports monthly
- Participate in Company Vehicle meetings to review claims activity and deal with actions arising
- Identify individual drivers with a poor accident or conviction history or breaches of Customer scheme rules
- Profile serious accidents, fatal accidents
- Provide ad hoc reports in format requested, same day

Fund Management
- Manage Escrow funds in dedicated bank accounts.
- Pay all invoices arising from the claims activity, including VAT
- Provide monthly fund bordereau detailing all payments, receipts, VAT and opening/closing balance.
- Calculate VAT to enable Customer to recover tax from HM Revenue & Customs

Motor Insurance Database (MID)
- Manage daily submission of vehicle data to Motor Insurance Data base (MID) on a compare and amend basis
- Receive fleet lists daily or periodically from Customer Fleet Administrators
- Monitor and respond to daily submission

Support Services
- Provide general advice and guidance to employees on insurance cover provided under Customer company motor schemes. Advise on eligibility, restrictions and exclusions imposed.
- Deal with driving licence queries, handle and approve additional driver applications
- Deal with personal effects and medical expenses claims within cover provided.
- Provide green cards and overseas travel documentation. Deal with applications for extensions to Overseas usage of vehicles.
- Supervise issue and return of motor insurance certificates, liaise with Police Stations
- Maintain claim form template, distribute to claimants

Service and Maintenance
- Authorisation of tyres, routine servicing and all pre-agreed non-warranty work required on car and light commercial fleets.
- Utilisation of industry recognised '1Link' online platform to agree and approve repair costs.
- Analysis and mitigation of costs and usage.
- Provision of audit facility at repair locations including fleet handback centres.
